Snow Report maintains an E-mail list of more than 8000 members who get informed about the latest news once or twice a week. A successful and reliable web site which, during the winter season, receives up to 90000 absolute unique visitors per day.

The photos and the weather readings (temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, wind information and rainfall) are taken at regular intervals, daily, 24 hours a day, so as to acomplish a real-time information. The system operates without human intervention. Parnassos Snowcam had over 125.000 unique views on December 2011.

WindSMS
This is a service developed first by Cybex S.A. on a worldwide scale. The system collects data from digital wind meters located near the sea or lakes, places appropriate for windsurfing, sailing, canoeing and for other water sports or sports were wind activity is vital. After collecting the data, the system sends the results to the windSMSserver, which in turn sends them into the mobile phone of the user in the format of a written message. It initially started for those who are involved with windsurfing or sailing but in general it concerns anyone who is interested in automatically getting informed when the wind in specific locations is getting stronger. For accessing the service a user needs only a mobile phone capable of receiving SMS messages (Internet is not needed with this system). Every subscriber has his own wind profile which consists of the minimum wind force, an indication whether to accept SMS messages all days or only at weekends and the windSMS places from which the wind data are being collected. When the prevailing wind exceeds the minimum force then an SMS message containing the wind data is automatically generated and sent to the user's mobile phone. SMS messages are processed every hour during daytime.

The beach cam updates the photos projected at the web site regularly. During the summer of 1999, Beach Report (sponsored by Panafon) overcame 500 visits (user sessions) per day as it concerns all Internet users regardless of age or sex. More specifically it concerns those who are interested in sea sports like swimming, beach volley, windsurfing, water skiing, wake board, jet ski, sailing and catamaran and even sunbathing. Besides, the selected beaches for projection are the most popular, beautiful and appropriate for such sports. Beach Report is accompanied by useful information concerning the surrounding area, like residence, entertainment, coverage of happenings and events.
