Snow is expected in Athens on Tuesday...Snow Report Party tonight!Parnassos, Kalavrita, Kimaktsalan and Karpenisi ski resorts were closed today due to stormy wind. Weather: Friday Excellent weather conditions are expected on Friday at all ski resorts, while the betterment of the weather on all aspects in combination with the fresh snow which has been added on the slopes makes the conditions ideal. Therefore sunshine is being expected at all ski resorts. The wind will be boosted up only in the morning from the North at Karpenisi and Parnassos ski resorts reaching 40 km/h, however it will soon weaken. The temperature will reach -3 to -6 degrees Celsius, while caution will be vital in the morning hours due to problems that will be caused by the frost created during today’s cloudless night. Saturday: At first sunshine will dominate at all ski resorts, however local cloudiness will develop at noon especially in Peloponnesus and snowfall will be expected in the night at Kalavrita. The wind will gradually turn to South without causing any particular problems as it will only be boosted at Kalavrita reaching 40-45 Km/h from noon and on. The temperature will increase for about 1-2 degrees Celsius. Sunday: Change of the weather scenery as increased cloudiness and limited visibility will dominate at all ski resorts. Snowfall is expected at all slopes, however due to the South wind the snowfall will be limited at high altitudes. Therefore it will snow from 900 meters and over in the Northern Greece, from 1200 meters and over in Epirus and Central Greece and from 1600 meters and over in the rest of the areas. At first the wind will blow from the South without causing any problems, however starting at noon and from the North, the wind will turn to North and will be boosted. The temperature will decrease for 2-3 degrees Celsius. Next week's weather forecast According to the latest facts it is very possible that from Monday there will be a significant alteration in the weather conditions with a sensational drop of temperature, the stormy North wind at the seas as well as the snowfall on Tuesday in the mainland.

The slopes are 270 and 100 meters long respectively. The ski/snowboard slope is 12 meters wide and the ascend is being accomplished via the middle lift, at the left you can see a recent photo where the plastic is getting placed on the artificial grass by an Italian workshop.
