SNOW-NEWS: More snow coming our way on Wednesday!
More snow is coming our way from this afternoon. A new turn in the weather is expected today, with south winds blowing and lots of snow on the ground, due to high humidity in the upper levels of the atmosphere. Following two days of heavy snow storms, Parnassos ski centre is open today. Lifts operating are:Telecabin, Aiolos, Vakhos, Pericles and Tilemahos (See management's message). Karpenisi ski centre is closed due to preparation works at the lifts. At Pilio ski centre, the snow height here has reached 1,5m. Party Announcement A "Chalet Warming Party" is being organized with Snow Report's support, at Mainalo ski centre on Saturday 22 January. The party will commence at 12 noon and will continue into the night. Come dance and enjoy the wonderful scenery with drinks, music and food. Weather forecast by Nikos Mazarakis... Snow heights today Klaoudatos Ski Bus from Athens to Kalavryta, Parnassos and Menalo and from Thessaloniki to Seli and Elatohori. TZIMAS TRAVEL Ski Bus from Thessaloniki for 3-5 Pigadia daily. Snow cameras now operating at 3-5 Pigadia, Parnassos, Kalavryta (Helmos), Karpenisi, Pilio, Vasilitsa and Parnitha (Meteocam).
