Substantial quantities of snow!
Brighter weather with sunshine and a rise in temperature at most ski centres. There's loads of good snow for skiing or snowboarding. The weather will improve tomorrow and the temperature will go up. On Sunday, winds will change to SW and there may be some weather phenomena. Try out nightskiing on Saturday at Pilio, Kaimaktsalan and Falakro ski centres. If you live in Volos or nearby, you should know that there's a public bus that takes you up to Pilio ski centre. Leave early one day from work and hit the slopes...the centre regularly closes at 5pm. Vasilitsa ski centre will be cutting its New Year Pitta on Saturday 12/02 at 18.00 at the centre's chalet. Saint Valentine's Day: Kaimaktsalan ski centre will be celebrating "Lovers' Day" on the 13th of February. WAIST NO TIME! TAKE YOUR SNOWREPORT CARD AND YOUR PASSPORT IN HAND AND TAKE THE SNOWBUS FROM ATHENS, LARISA - KATERINI OR THESSALONIKI TO BANSKO IN BULGARIA! 2 ½ DAY OF SKIING IN BANSKO. DEPARTURES EVERY WEEK. A variety of ski runs, long, short, black, red, blue and green, wait for you at the most modern ski centre in the Balkans.
