Substantial quantities of snow!
Substantial quantities of snow have covered most ski centres around the country, creating access problems for those located in Central Greece. Car chains are a MUST for all roads in mountainous regions of the country. For all you snowboarding friends who frequent 3-5 Pigadia, you'll like to know that the half pipe will be open on the weekend. Pilio Ski Centre: A night skiing event is being organized by the ski center in collaboration with the Snow Club, on Saturday 05/02. There'll be lots of fun, music and drinking. The lower lift will be operating from 17.00 to 19.00, after which, the upper single seater lift will be in operation. The cost for the pass will be 9 euro. Furthermore, it has been decided that when the weather conditions permit and the snow quality is good, there will be an hour's extention to the daily opening hours of the centre. At 3-5 Pigadia Snow Report Card holders there's a special price for a yearly pass, at 120 euro. Snow heights today Klaoudatos Ski Bus from Athens to Kalavryta, Parnassos and Menalo and from Thessaloniki to Seli and Elatohori. TZIMAS TRAVEL Ski Bus from Thessaloniki for 3-5 Pigadia daily. Snow cameras now operating at 3-5 Pigadia, Parnassos, Kalavryta (Helmos), Karpenisi, Pilio, Vasilitsa and Parnitha (Meteocam). DAY CARD AT KARPENISI SNOW CENTRE IS AVAILABLE TO SNOW REPORT CARD 2005 HOLDERS AT THE SPECIAL PRICE OF 13.50 EURO WHEN THE NORMAL PRICE IS 18 EURO.
