SNOW-NEWS: Fresh snow at most ski centres!
Snowfalls and light to strong winds are the dominant elements at most of the ski centres. The two-seater lift at Falakro did not operate on the weekend as efforts were concentrated on solving problems with the four-seater lift which in the end worked fine. You can enjoy free night skiing here on Staurdays. At Parnassos the daily ski pass was only 15 euro on the weekend as Hercules lift was not in operation. 
A new ski center-Ziria- will be opening by the end of February, 23 km
from the town of Xylokastro in the area of Trikala Korinthias in the
Peloponnese. This year's opearation will be experimental, but one will
find a 200m baby lift, equipment rental, Klaoudatos ski school, rental
of snowmobiles and Snow Bus rides on the mountain. For next year,
there's provision to add a pull-up lift and to expand the building
facilities. The centre's management has been undertaken by the company
A. Klaoudatos and Co S.A., after signing an agreement with the Mayor of
Xylokastro. At 3-5 Pigadia, as of the 1st of February and until the end of this year's winter season, you can get a season card at a reduced price. Adults 150 euor, Students-Pupils 100 euro, Children's 50euro. For Snow Report Card holders there's a special price for a yearly pass, at 120 euro. The weather will be taking a bad turn during the next two days; the temperatures will drop noticeably and there will be more snow throughout the country. Weather forecast by Nikos Mazarakis...
