Falakro ski resort is now in operation. The first Ìega Pixel Snow Cam is on at Pisoderi ski resort!Low temperature and sunshine are the main characteristics of the weather today at most of the ski resorts, from -1 to -12 (Falakro) degrees Celsius. At Parnassos ski resort there is not enough snow for skiing however tomorrow the resort will be in operation with the Tilecabine. Mainalo ski resort is expected to be in operation on Saturday with Krios lift, Vitsi will also be in operation and Pilio with two lifts just for a ride. The ski school at Lailias ski resort will be in operation tomorrow. At the Snow Park of Zireia at Trikala of Korinthia a 200 meters long baby lift is in operation. The weather forecast by the Greek Meteorological Agency: Saturday: Temperature: Further drop. The levels will be under zero during the night and early in the morning on the mainland. Sunday Christmas: Temperature: Slight increase during the daytime. However, the levels will remain under zero during the night and early in the morning on the mainland. Monday: Snowfall is possible in the morning even at areas within northern Greece with low altitude. Wind: South-Southwest strong Two plastic slopes for ski/snowboard and snowtubes are set at Politses ski resort in Metsovo. The slopes are 270 and 100 meters long respectively. The ski/snowboard slope is 12 meters wide and the ascend is being accomplished via the middle lift, at the left you can see a recent photo where the plastic is getting placed on the artificial grass by an Italian workshop. The inauguration opening for the building of the new Ski Resort in Velvedos (Kozani) took place on the 1/10/2005. Well know companies Doppelmayr (Austria) and GARAVENTA AG (Switzerland) were present as shareholders of 40% each. Also the Greek company LM S.A. with 40%, the municipality of Velvedos with 12%, private citizen Mr. Christodoulos Markalas with 6%, the district of western Macedonia with 1% and the Skiing association of Velvedos with 1% This work is a vision of the Managing Director of LM S.A., Mr. Leonardos Anagnostopoulos: "The budget for this work is 30 million euro with a deadline within two to three years. At first, in the beginning of 2007, the overhead lift with capacity
