SNOW-NEWS: Waiting for the first snow..
All ski resorts in Greece are finalizing their maintenance works. The season is expected to start in the beginning of December 2004. Mainalo Ski Resort will be one of this year's surprises. During last year's winter period it was closed due to a lack of electricity power; this year it will be in operation under new management, Klaoudatos Sports. The resort is in Peloponissos, near the town of Tripoli. At Kaimaktsalan Ski Resort a new ski lift will be operational at the left side of the currently existing chair lift. 
Extreme sports evening eventWe are only a few weeks away before the winter season kicks off. Every year our aim is to provide you with up to date information, gifts, travel suggestions, events and parties. This year, we are marking the beginning of the new winter season with an exciting event, which will bring us all together for an evening occasion that will put us all in the mood for what we love. A unique opportunity to see the movie "Extreme sports" on a gigantic dome screen, the size of two basketball grounds! A real treat for all extreme sports fanatics! Come and admire leading extreme sports champions in a thrilling film of exceptional scenery and music. The greatness of the screen will make you will feel as if you're part of the adventure and that you are in it live. Experience: 1. Giant wave surfing in Oahu, Hawai 2. Climbing on frozen waterfalls in British Columbia 3. Skiing and snowboarding in Juneau, Alaska 4. Windsurfing and kitesurfing in Maui, Hawai 5. Rock climbing in Utah The Extreme sports event takes place at the i-Max hall in the New Planetarium of the Evgenidio Foundation - Syngrou Ave. 387, Paleo Faliro- on Thursday 9 December at 19:30 (be there around 19:00). There will be a cocktail following the film, where skiers and snowboarders, as well as officials will give their views. The invitation is open to all Snow Report Card holders.The entrance is free but you must reserve a place here. ( It is important to make a reservation in advance as seats for the film are limited to 280 ) We work on providing you better prices for ski passes, shops, hotels, ski and snowboard rentals.
