Snow News Over the next 3 days there is unfortunately no forecast for snow for the Greek ski centers. The forecast suggests it should be a bit cooler on Saturday with some rain showers in the western and northern Greece, but it looks set to turn a bit milder again on Sunday. Fingers crossed that we will see some snow next week, and that we'll see some sport soon. (source meteoman) Meteo Snow Cameras installations: at 3-5 Pigadia and Parnassos area are already in operation. At Lailias we faced technical problems so the installation is due within this month. Kaimaktsalan: The double chair lift operates only for rides the weekends. There is not enough snow for Skiing. Chalet is open. Parnassos: Lack of snow postpones the opening of the center to 16/12/00. If there is enough snow before the date set the center will operate earlier. (by ski centers managment). Kalavrita: Pricelist for 2000-2001. Since the 28th of October and on, every weekend, the chair lifts Achilleas and Stiga are operational.		Karpenisi: 5 cm snow. When there is enough snow, is ready to operate. This week bad weather with snowfall is expected. Vasilitsa: No snow. When there is enough snow, is ready to operate Lailias: Minimum snow. The road has icy bits at turnings. Chalet is open on Weekends. Pisoderi: : 3-4 cm snow. Chalet is open. Falakro: 3 new slopes and lifts were constructed this summer.This season only one of the above will be in operation, the one back of Chalet and opposite the old slopes.
