SnowBoard Tip of the
Day!
This section concerns all of
you who wish to start snowboarding, or who want to improve their technique.
Let's start with the basic!
Are you goofy (right foot in front) or regular (left foot in front) ? In
order to find that out, pretend to kick something and see which leg automatically
gives the kick. If you kick with your right foot, you are regular, because
you will place the right foot at the back. You have to make sure you are
comfortable with the position, as you will soon find out that both your
legs and your body should be in harmony with the board. Make sure your
bindings have the proper angle (you can ask the person at the rental shop
to fix them for you). Once on the board, try to find your balance by putting
the weight of your body at the center of the board, and slide down slowly.
