Parnassos: Closed
due to strong winds.
Kalavrita:
Because of heavy snow fall, the ski centre has been closed for the past
days.It is now being cleared and will open when ready.Coming weekend, snowboard
and 4-wheel car competition,organized by Panafon-Panathlon.
Karpenissi: Coming
weekend, 2nd ski competition cup of Greece organized by EOS Karpenissi
Vasilitsa: Coming
weekend, Snowboard competition 2nd cup of North Greece organized by Edessa

SnowBoard Tip of the
Day!
It is very important to understand
how to position and use your shoulders and hips properly when snowboarding.
The first thing to do is to keep the shoulders in the ax of the board,
which means to turn your shoulders towards the bottom of the slope and
look downwards, not sideways. This position automatically helps your hips
to be parallel to your shoulders.
That way, as you go down the
slope and want to turn backside for instance,your shoulders will move with
the board into the curve, your hips -and your back foot- will give a little
push in the same direction, and you will make a nice, long, turn.
