Kalavrita:
Because of heavy snow fall, the ski centre has been closed for the past
days.It is now being cleared and will open when ready.Coming weekend, snowboard
and 4-wheel car competition,organized by Panafon-Panathlon.

weekend, 2nd ski competition cup of Greece organized by EOS Karpenissi
Vasilitsa: Coming
weekend, Snowboard competition 2nd cup of North Greece organized by
Edessa Ski Club.
SnowBoard Tip of the
Day!
The best way to begin is to
first slide on your snowboard (choose an easy slope for starters).Sliding
front-side means that you are looking towards the top of the slope and
you are putting more weight on your toes. If you are more comfortable with
sliding backside, you will be looking towards the bottom of the slope and
putting more weight on your heels. That way, you slightly lift one side
of the board, and it slides down the slope. You are now ready to start
going down the slope, and turning (either back
or front side) by putting more
emphasis on either your toes or your heels, and giving a little push with
your back foot.

your shoulders and your hips!
